A quick welcome
I’m Jess, a Mongolia tourism & destination dpecialist and an under-the-radar tourism innovator, as well as the founder of Eternal Landscapes Mongolia—a tour operator and DMC where we invite our guests to experience a deeper travel philosophy. I’m also the founder of Eternal Landscapes Dartmoor, where we offer experiences that celebrate and support Dartmoor’s people, communities, and landscapes.
As a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a published guidebook author (currently offline for updates), and a passionate advocate for meaningful travel, I’m constantly inspired by the connections between people, places, and cultures. I’m also an avid reader, a lover of libraries, and a sea swimmer in a landlocked country because I believe in finding unexpected ways to connect with nature.
This website is a collection of my musings—some posts focus on Mongolia, others on Dartmoor, and some dive into the unique challenges of being a woman in tourism. But all of them are united by my belief in travel done right—whether it’s local or international.
Thanks for stopping by—there’s a place for all these thoughts here.
This website is formed by my musings. Some focus on Mongolia. Some focus on Dartmoor. Some are about being a woman in tourism. Most are connected in my belief in travel - local or international - done well. But all have a place here.
